Live Webcam Lets Fans Track Progress of SFC Renovation

Champaign -- Construction for the renovation of State Farm Center is underway, and the University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics has installed a new webcam that will allow fans to follow the progress of the multi-year project. The live webcam can be accessed now at camera is posted atop the south end of the Memorial Stadium press box, facing south, and provides a look at the construction happening around the exterior of State Farm Center. In addition to the exterior camera, a second webcam will soon be added from inside the arena, giving fans the ability to view interior construction as well. The website also includes comprehensive photo galleries of the renovation, updated weekly.

Major construction on State Farm Center began in March, with the project occurring in phases surrounding each basketball season. The renovation is scheduled to be completed prior to the 2016-17 season. To learn more about the project, including premium-seating opportunities, please visit
