Springfield City Council To Debate Limitations On Gaming Licenses

SPRINGFIELD - Springfield City Council will debate whether to limit the number of gaming licenses issued in the city next week.

An ordinance was proposed by Alderman Cory Jobe that would require any new applicants to prove that a minimum of 60 percent of their revenue comes from the sale of food and beverages.

The measure could be taken up by the council as soon as May 6th, 2014
