Free weather radio programming offered at Decatur Walgreens

DECATUR - The Macon County Emergency Management Agency will be programming NOAA weather radios for free on Thursday at the N. Water Street Walgreens location in Decatur from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

This service is being provided at no charge by the agency in an effort to continue severe weather preparedness for county residents.

Residents who would like their radios programmed are encouraged to bring them in.  NOAA weather radios will also be available for purchase at Walgreens.

The Macon County Emergency Management Agency says the radios are designed to notify people of severe weather inside a building or at night.
