Woman Pistol Whipped; Police Look for Suspect

URBANA - Police are asking for your help to find a man who allegedly broke into a woman's home and pistol-whipped her.
The incident happened about two hours after the suspect tapped on another woman's bathroom window and tried to get in. Both incidents happened in the 400 block of South Busey in Urbana.
The victim was transported to Carle Hospital where she was treated and released. Police say the woman suffered several facial lacerations and a broken cheek bone. The suspect is described as less than 40 years old, medium build, and was last seen wearing a yellow and white hoodie. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 373-TIPS.
