Howdy Model Citizens! Now, I very rarely will do this. In fact, I take pride in devoting this blog, my Facebook page, and segment to pure positivity, and good clean fun. But I really feel like I should make something clear. I am not here to body shame. I am not here to tell anyone that they are less beautiful because they're a size 14 and not a size 7. Why? Because as far as I am concerned, fashion is for everybody. I've noticed lately that there have been many an article, blog post, and report on weight loss and how it affects your health. Though I agree that maintaining ones weight is key to keeping oneself healthy, I don't think it's a one size fits all type of situation. You can be healthy at a size 10, and in horrible shape, health wise at a size 4. My job as a fashion blogger isn't to tell you what you can't wear, but to empower and inspire you to have the confidence to wear whatever you want! I don't believe that you have to be a certain size to wear shorts. I do believe that you have to be of a certain mindset to carry it off. You've got to be confident. Though I think that a flattering fit is essential to looking your best, I don't think you should have to cover up from head to toe to achieve that. Love yourself, be proud of what you're working with, and if you have some areas that you want to change, go on ahead and work towards achieving that...or not! Whatever you choose to do though, keep it ringing in the back of your mind that you're beautiful the way you are and you are just as worthy as the next chick to rock the hell out of whatever outfit you feel good in. #work. Welp, now that I have gotten that off of my chest, here's my outfit of the day!
