KINGSTON, Ill. (AP) - The DeKalb County sheriff says the body of a missing 23-year-old DeKalb man has been found in the Kishwaukee River.

Sheriff Roger Scott says Steven Schulz had been missing since Sunday. Illinois Department of Natural Resources officers searching the river in a kayak found his body Wednesday afternoon. DeKalb County Coroner Dennis Miller pronounced Schulz dead at the scene and an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.

DeKalb County sheriff's deputies found Schulz's truck early Monday near a bridge over the river. The sheriff's office, DeKalb police and the DeKalb County coroner are investigating.

The search included dogs, a boat and a helicopter.
