DECATUR-Neighborhood walks are returning to the city, but not in their traditional format. For the past two years city leaders have walked Decatur's neighborhoods to get a sense of what the problems and perks of particular communities are. But now, the city will host a small gathering before the walk and people who want to go door to door can tag along. "It's a little bit of a change, but we think it's going to be more informative and it will hopefully encourage more dialogue with more people in the neighborhoods," says Assistant City Manager Billy Tyus. The next walk will be in the Moundford Terrace neighborhood on July 24th at 5:30 pm.
