Chicago man involved in fight dies after police use stun gun
CHICAGO - According to authorities, a man has died after Chicago police used a stun gun while trying to break up a fight.
Francisco Rocha, 41, died Saturday afternoon. Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner say Rocha was involved in a fight with several other men when officers arrived at the scene.
Chicago police say the stun gun was used because the officers couldn't control Rocha. Rocha was pronounced dead at Saint Anthony Hospital, and on Sunday the medical examiner's office said that autopsy results were inconclusive pending further studies.
The Independent Police Review Authority is investigating this incident.
