Arnold Ready For Reload As He Takes Over as St. Teresa Head Baseball Coach

DECATUR -- It's not often a new coach gets to walk into such a good situation, but that's what new St. Teresa baseball coach J.D. Arnold gets.

Arnold takes over for Jim Stewart, who stepped down in early July after 15 years at the helm.

Arnold has made a number of stops in his coaching career, most recently, a Decatur Commodores coach.

That means he's already coaching a number of players who will be in the program, which is why he's less concerned with losing a talented Bulldog senior class.

"We don't have Adam Peters stepping through the door anytime soon so hopefully we can build people like those to take their shoes eventually when they become seniors," says Arnold.

The message that Arnold brings to the team is a simple one. "To just have fun and play the game the right way," says Arnold.
