Doddy pleads not guilty to charges in rest stop killing
DIXON - A northern Illinois man charged in the deaths of two people has pleaded not guilty to murdering one of them at a highway rest stop near Paw Paw.
On Monday, Terence Doddy, 36, pleaded not guilty to 12 counts of first-degree murder and other charges in the July 1 death of Tonya Bargman. Bargman was killed as she left a bathroom at the Willow Creek rest stop.
Doddy has also pleaded not guilty to murder charges in the June 30 slaying of Todd Hansmeier.
Doddy was arrested after a police chase near Beloit, Wisconsin on July 4. He is currently being held without bond in Winnebago County Jail.
