3 dead in Quincy house fire

QUINCY - A house fire in Quincy has claimed the lives of a man and two children.

On Saturday, Lewis Bassett Jr., 3, died after being flown to St. Louis Children's Hospital for treatment.  His brother, Ladavion Bassett, 1, and his father, Lewis Bassett Sr., 43, were pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Mourners have gathered at the home, leaving wreaths, flowers, balloons, and a wooden cross.

According to Quincy Fire Chief Joe Henning, fire and police officials are still investigating the fire.
