First of 3 medical marijuana meetings set for Collinsville on Thursday

COLLINSVILLE - The first of three town hall meetings aimed at answering questions about the medical marijuana application process in Illinois is going to be held in Collinsville on Thursday.

The meeting is one of three scheduled to take place throughout Illinois this month.  The second will be on August 18 at the Peoria Public Library, and the third is set for August 20 at the student union building on Northeastern Illinois University's campus.

Those who participate in the meetings will learn about how the application process will work.  Caregivers, patients, and aspiring business owners are invited to attend.
