CT Pain Free, founded by David Junga, Postural Alignment Specialist and currently Connecticut’s only Egoscue Certified Practitioner, is pleased to announce the opening of his new Therapy Office. Located in the Station House Square Complex in Stratford, CT, clients can now schedule appointments and begin their journey to becoming pain free.
The Egoscue Method?, founded by Pete Egoscue in 1978, focuses on a series of gentle exercises and stretches to correct misalignments and reintroduce proper body mechanics. Through a custom created series of exercises (e-cises), clients work towards achieving the body’s natural posture and eventually becoming pain free. Significant results are often seen within the first 8 visits.
“I have experienced chronic pain in my own life, and after I started studying and practicing Egoscue, I saw instant results.” said David Junga, Founder and Program Director of CT Pain Free. “I know from experience that these exercises provide remarkable results to people of all ages suffering from chronic pain, and I look forward to treating clients and providing them the tools and resources to live a pain-free life.”
Every client begins their treatment at CT Pain Free the same way – with an introductory session and posture evaluation, as well as a custom e-cise menu, which clients are urged to do on a daily basis. This e-cise menu, tailored to each client’s ailments and needs, and available online, or on your iPhone via the Egosgue Pain Free App, will reduce pain and reintroduce proper body mechanics.
After the introductory postural alignment consultation, it is recommended that clients go through an initial 8 visit treatment program that consists of weekly or bi-weekly visits and assessments at CT Pain Free, as well as a constantly updated e-cise menu for clients to do on a daily basis.

About The Egoscue Method?:
Founded by Pete Egoscue in 1978, The Egoscue Method? uses a series of gentle exercises and stretches to correct misalignments and reintroduce proper body mechanics. Through performing an individually designed Egoscue exercise (e-cise) menu daily, clients take personal responsibility during their road to recovery. And, once postural deviations are corrected (by strengthening weak muscles and elongating tight or atrophied muscles) Egoscue permanently relieves chronic pain as muscles learn to perform their proper functions and to hold the body in a posturally-sound position. A reduction in pain is often felt after just one session; however, a client’s full recovery is dependent on adherence to one’s daily exercise menu.
