Farmer City Police investigating early-morning burglaries

FARMER CITY - The Farmer City Police Department and DeWitt County Sheriff's Office is seeking the assistance of the public in solving a series of crimes that occurred during the early morning hours of August 21.

According to Farmer City Police, 28 separate criminal incidents occurred during the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2014.  Several parked and unoccupied vehicles were damaged and burglarized.  Several GPS units and other electronic devices were stolen.
