Proprietary Score Shines Spotlight on Economic Well-Being of U.S. States, Counties and Cities
Stamford, CT (PRWEB) September 03, 2014
Lumesis Inc., DIVER Geo Score results for August 2014 have been released. The DIVER Geo Score is a relative score of the economic health of a U.S. State, county or city. Based on a scale of 0-10, with 10 being the best, the Geo Score is calculated from multiple economic and demographic factors related to employment, income and housing and is updated monthly. The Geo Score helps market participants understand the economic health of every State, county and over 350 cities in a simple score.
"The economic health of the Delmarva region has been deteriorating relative to other areas of the country. A comparison to New England is instructive. Where Maryland, Virginia and Delaware have been lagging, the New England states led by Massachusetts have been improving, said Mike Craft, Managing Director, Credit, Lumesis, Inc. Economic activity in Prince Georges, Harford, and Carroll counties in Maryland have been particularly weak.
