Macon County Conservation Foundation holding annual fundraising event

DECATUR - The Macon County Conservation Foundation is inviting the public to take part in its annual Prairie Pedal event on September 28.

Prairie Pedal is a fundraising event held every fall, with the proceeds supporting the conservation of natural areas and wildlife diversity in Macon County.

Participants will be able to enjoy a 62 mile, 40 mile, or 20 mile ride through the Macon County countryside, with lunch and an assortment of refreshments being served after.  All routes will begin and end at the Rock Springs Conservation Area.

SAG support will also be available to help riders who need assistance, with priority being given to riders in emergency situations, such as illness, injury, or irreparable breakdowns.
