Decatur Police investigating Monday morning armed robbery

DECATUR - The Decatur Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in solving an armed robbery that occurred on Monday.

Decatur police say that on September 8 at approximately 11:45 a.m., an armed robbery occurred at the Domino's Pizza located at 1948 E. Eldorado.  An employee at the restaurant told police that a man had jumped the counter and pointed a bandanna-covered hand at him, implying that the suspect had a weapon.  After the employee handed the suspect an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect fled the business.  Another witness told police he saw the suspect prior to entering the business.

Police say the witnesses described the suspect as a black male, between 25-30 years old, standing between 5'0" and 5'5" tall, with a thin build, short hair, and clean-shaven face.  He was last seen wearing all dark clothing, a dark-colored ball cap, and a white-colored bandana covering his hand and face.
