URBANA - The City of Urbana Public Arts Program and the Public Art League have announced the installation of a new sculpture near the corner of Green and Cedar streets in downtown Urbana.

Chicago artist Nicole Beck created the sculpture, named "Asteray."  The new work of art was installed with the help of Barak Rosenshine, and is part of the Urbana Public Arts Program's Sculpture Project, which was started in 2009.

The sculpture will reside near the corner of Green and Cedar streets until mid-August 2016.  For more information on the Urbana Public Arts Program, contact Lisa Hatchadoorian at (217) 328-8265 or lhatchadoorian@urbanaillinois.us.
