Man charged in connection with downtown Springfield pipe bomb

SPRINGFIELD - An Illinois man has been charged in connection with a pipe bomb found in downtown Springfield in late July 2014.

According to Sangamon County State' Attorney John Milhiser, Bradford Moss has been charged with possession of explosives or incendiary devices and attempted theft in connection with the pipe bomb found by Springfield police on July 28.

Moss is currently in custody at the Sangamon County Jail on unrelated aggravated robbery, theft, and forgery charges.
