Corvette Could Bring Over $100K

Decatur - High quality cars and memorabilia go on the auction block in Decatur starting 10am Saturday.

It's the 4th annual auction sponsored by the Chevrolet Hall of Fame & Museum.  The auction will be held at Progress City on the campus of Richland Community College.

The auction will have over 80 lots.  20 lots of memorabilia that includes neon signs and vintage gas pumps.  Over 60 classic cars and trucks.

The featured vehicle is a replica 1958 Corvette.  It was built by Danny Goad of Mt. Zion.

“It was my dream car,” Goad told WAND News.  “Just one of those bucket list things.”

It's expected the replica '58 Corvette could bring in the range of $80,000 to $100,000.  Possibly more.
