Twelve Quincy properties on sale through "Fix or Flatten" program

Posted:
QUINCY - Twelve properties are up for sale through Quincy's "Fix or Flatten" program.

The city's redevelopment program helps deal with properties that the city has been charged by the courts with maintaining by getting new owners to maintain those properties.

Proposals for the 10 residential properties and two commercial properties are being accepted through October 16, 2014.  Of the 12 properties, only five have houses on them, while the rest are vacant.

Proposals must include a redevelopment plan required to be completed within one year of the closing date and a proposed purchase price.
