Springfield Park District to offer basketball, lacrosse programs

SPRINGFIELD - The Springfield Park District is accepting team registration forms for the 2014-2015 Adult Men's Basketball Leagues, and is announcing the return of their lacrosse program.

District officials say three leagues will be offered at this time, labeled "A League," "B League," and "C League."  Registration for each league costs $425 per team for residents, and $475 per team for non-residents.  Registration closes on Novermber 10 at 4:30 p.m., with games beginning during the first week of December.

We've included links to registration forms and team rosters below:

The Springfield Park District will also offer its Capital City Lacrosse program this winter.  The dates for open gym sessions have not yet been determined.  The cost to attend the open gym sessions will be $40 for four weeks of clinics.  Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment, however the district will also provide sticks.  Teams will be able to participate in the Central Illinois Lacrosse Association next spring.
