Pana police make arrests in early-morning armed robbery

PANA - The Pana Police Department has announced two arrests have been made in connection with an early-morning armed robbery that occurred earlier this month.

According to Pana police, on October 8 at about 1:53 a.m., an armed robbery occurred at Shasteens Marathon Station, located on East Jackson Street in Pana.  Police say a masked subject entered the store with a handgun, and found a clerk in an office in the back of the building.  The clerk was struck in the face several times before the victim's purse and the cashier box was taken from the business.

Authorities say Andrea Bolyard, 28, and Nathan Wisdom, 27, were arrested inside a Ramsey residence on October 15 in connection to the armed robbery.  Authorities also say that evidence from the armed robbery was recovered from inside the residence.  Pana police say they believe that Bolyard is the alleged driver involved in this incident, and that Wisdom is the alleged armed subject involved in the incident.

Both Bolyard and Wisdom have been charged with armed robbery and transported to the Christian County Correctional Center.
