IHSA to share videos of past events online

Posted:
BLOOMINGTON - The Illinois High School Association has announced in the coming months, it will begin to post videos of past state tournament events on YouTube.

The IHSA is a nonprofit organization that is in charge of high school sports in Illinois.  Video from the association's fall calendar, like swimming and diving, football, volleyball, cross country, and soccer, is already available on YouTube.

IHSA officials say they plan to continue to upload videos throughout the winter and spring, and could even upload more of the hundreds of state final events the association has in its video library.

Among the clips the IHSA has uploaded to YouTube is footage from the 1952 state championship, and highlights of a 1989 boys basketball tournament.
