Macon County Conservation District to hold educational mini camps

DECATUR - The Macon County Conservation District is inviting children ages one through five, along with a parent or guardian, to Rock Springs Nature Center on November 4 and November 5 for their "B is for Brown" mini camps.

Children who attend will be able to explore tree bark, dirt, and toads during the camps.  One of Rock Springs Nature Center's resident live animals, American Toad, will also make an appearance.

The first mini camp will be held on November 4 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., and is designed for children ages one through five.  The second mini camp will be held on November 5 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., and is designed for children ages three through five.

The fee for each camp is $10.  In order to participate, you will need to pre-register online by November 3 at www.maconcountyconservation.org.
