Springfield police investigating home invasion and robbery

SPRINGFIELD - The Springfield Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in their investigation of a home invasion and robbery that took place during the early morning hours of September 4.

According to police, suspects armed with handguns made their way into a residence on the 2000 block of Peoria Road in Springfield.  After entering the home, the suspects forced the victims into the bathroom and restrained them while the suspects stole phones, televisions, and other items.

Police say the suspects left the area in a truck at about 3:15 a.m.  The suspects are described as two thin black males and one white male.
