BLOOMINGTON - A central Illinois woman who pleaded guilty to aggravated DUI that resulted in the death of an Illinois State University student has been sentenced to 14 years in prison.
McLean County Associate Judge Casey Costigan sentenced Jamie Webb, 37, on Thursday. Webb pleaded guilty to aggravated DUI in August.
According to authorities, Webb was traveling at more than 130 miles per hour when she ran a light a crashed into a vehicle. Four individuals were injured in the collision, and one of them, 22-year-old Michael Collins, died from his injuries three days later.
