Decatur police search for suspect in shooting death

DECATUR - The Decatur Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating a person who they say is allegedly connected with a shooting that happened during the early morning hours of November 1.

Decatur police say an arrest warrant has been issued for Deshon Graves, 19, in accordance to the ongoing investigation surrounding the shooting death of Arcarius Anderson.  Graves is wanted for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.  Decatur police say the shooting happened on the parking lot of Jabroni's, located in the 1800 block of North Water Street.  

Graves is described as a male, standing 5'5" tall, and weighing 150 pounds.  Police say Graves should be considered armed and dangerous.  We've included a photo of Graves in this article.  Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Graves is urged to call Decatur police at (217) 424-2711 or Crime Stoppers at (217) 423-TIPS.

Decatur police say the investigation into the circumstances surrounding Anderson's death is ongoing.
