Christmas Bells Are Ringing

Decatur – Friday morning bell ringers will be out at stores in the Decatur area.  Red kettles will be strategically placed in the hopes of raising money for the Salvation Army.

“Our goal this year is $400,000,” said Decatur City Manager Ryan McCrady.  McCrady is co-chair of the Salvation Army Festival of Lights for 2014.

“We have a greater need all the time and so that's kind of where we are this Christmas season,” Salvation Army Captain Wes Dalberg told WAND News.  “Decatur is a very generous community.  And so, we believe that we'll reach that $400,000.”
