Salvation Army, Coalition for Veterans' Concerns to host Veterans Stand Down event

DECATUR - The Salvation Army is partnering with the Coalition for Veterans' Concerns to host the third annual Veterans Stand Down of November 14.

This event is designed to help veterans in need of assistance, and will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at 229 West Main Street in Decatur.  Round trip transportation will be provided for veterans from Champaign, Bloomington, Danville, and Clinton.

Department of Veterans' Affairs and National Guard officials will be in attendance, as well as agencies and groups that will offer the following services:

Affordable Health Care information,
Dental Care
Child and Baby Well care
