Wreaths Across America

Danville – Wreaths Across America.  An effort to place wreaths on the graves of deceased veterans at national cemeteries from coast to coast.

Tammy Williams is attempting to raise money for wreaths to be placed on graves at the National Cemetery in Danville.

“Last year they had 300.  Out here we have 11,300 graves,” Williams commented on the number of wreaths placed on graves in Danville.  “In this community 300 wreaths is a lot.  But it doesn't really look like a lot when you only cover 300 graves.”

Information on how to donate money for wreaths can be found on Facebook at “Cover Danville National Cemetery.”  Or, by going to the Wreathsacrossamerica.org website.

The wreaths will be placed on graves at 11am December 13th.
