Richland Community College to hold annual Art Bazaar

Posted:
DECATUR - Richland Community College is inviting the public to attend their annual Richland Art Bazaar on December 3, 2014.

The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Mueller Student Center and Erlanson Art Gallery, and will feature student portfolio presentations, fine art exhibits, music and dance performances, and an art bazaar with Richland and community artists.

The art bazaar will feature a fine arts sale of the works of Richland Community College students, alumni, faculty, and staff.  Students will present their work in mini-presentations, with professional artists on hand to critique student work and to provide advice.  The Mueller stage will feature music and dance performances.

Community artists are also welcomed to participate in the Art Bazaar.  The fee for a booth is $30, and applications are available through the Communications, Education, Humanities, and Fine Arts office or by emailing Jamie Rutherford at jrutherf@richland.edu.  The deadline for booth request is November 19, 2014.
