Miniature Therapy Horses Bringing Big Smiles

NOKOMIS-They may be small in size--but a duo of miniature horses is making a big impression around Central Illinois.
Heartland Mini Hoofs is a non-profit based in Taylorville.
They have two miniature horses--Jasper and Bailey--who despite being shorter than 34 inches---are full grown.
The small animals wear shoes from Build-a-Bear so they don't track in germs and they have bags so they don't make a mess indoors.
Tuesday, they visited the Nokomis Rehab Center, spreading cheer.
They have just started visits and are hoping to visit more nursing homes, hospitals, schools---and any place where someone needs a smile.  We've added their information to sitewatch.
