Decatur man faces multiple drug-related charges

DECATUR - The Decatur Police Department has announced that a central Illinois man has been arrested during the execution of a narcotics search warrant on November 21.

According to Decatur Police Department Criminal Investigations Lieutenant Jason Walker, the Decatur Police Street Crimes Unit, Macon County Sheriff's Office, and Decatur Police Emergency Response Team executed a narcotics search warrant at a home in the 2400 block of East Prairie Avenue in Decatur at about 6:30 a.m.

Walker says detectives seized 70 grams of crack cocaine, 25 grams of marijuana, and cash.  Walker also says Wallace Pugh, 37, was arrested during the execution of the search warrant.

Decatur police say Pugh faces preliminary charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana, and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
