Peoria police investigate Monday morning burglary

PEORIA - Authorities say about $23,000 worth of leather jackets and designer jeans have been stolen from a central Illinois store in a span of approximately two minutes.

Police say surveillance video showed four men, who were wearing hooded sweatshirts and gloves, breaking a window and entering Starz Beauty and Fashion in Peoria during the early morning hours of November 24.

Authorities say the men used a brick to break a glass case, and took six pairs of jeans worth approximately $500 each.  Police also say the men stole about two dozen leather jackets valued at $1,000 each, and left the store through the same window they had broken about two minutes prior.

Police continue to investigate this crime.  No arrests have been made so far.
