Glenwood Graduate Sentenced for Reckless Driving

 FAIRFAX, VA. - Washington Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth, who starred in the mid-late 1990's with Glenwood High School, has been sentenced to reckless driving. He will spend 10 days in jail for driving over 100 miles an hour.

Werth currently has three seasons left on a seven-year contract with the Nationals.
 

Werth hit a conference record .616 with the Glenwood Titans in 1997, his senior year.
