Instructor arrested for aggravated criminal sexual abuse

JACKSONVILLE - Illinois State Police say an instructor at the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired has been arrested for aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Authorities say James Strader was taken into custody as a result of an investigation by the Illinois State Police Division of Internal Investigation.  Illinois State Police say Strader has worked at the school since July 2014 as a Rehabilitation and Mobility Instructor.

Illinois State Police say the investigation is ongoing, and that authorities are working with the Morgan County State's Attorney's Office.
