Southern Illinois woman pleads not guilty to bank robbery

EAST ST. LOUIS - A Collinsville woman has pleaded not guilty to three felony bank robbery counts.

Authorities say Easter Jimison, 37, was arraigned on federal charges linked to three bank robberies during a Wednesday hearing.

Authorities say Jimison allegedly robbed the First Collinsville Bank in Caseyville on November 7, taking more than $4,600.  Investigators also say Jimison allegedly demanded cash from a Bank of Edwardsville teller in Swansea on December 5, but apologized to the teller shortly afterward and left without taking any money.  Authorities say Jimison allegedly robbed a First Collinsville Bank in Maryville five days later.

Authorities say no weapon was displayed in any of the incidents, and no injuries were reported.  Jimison's trial has been scheduled to begin on March 23.
