Police search for suspect in State Farm Center incident

CHAMPAIGN - University of Illinois Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying an individual who broke a window at the State Farm Center on January 1.

Police say surveillance video shows a man breaking a window near the building's northwest entrance at about 1:55 a.m. on January 1.  After breaking the window, police say the man entered the State Farm Center for a few moments, then left the building.  Police say the man did not appear to take anything from the building.

The suspect is described as appearing to be in his late teens to early twenties, with long hair.  The suspect was wearing a backward, purple-billed hat, dark-colored pants, a dark gray jacket over a flannel shirt, and black and white basketball shoes.  We've included a still image from the surveillance video to aid in identifying this suspect.
