Habitat for Humanity opening new store in Champaign
CHAMPAIGN - Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County has announced it will open a new boutique-styled store on February 3.
The store, named Top Drawer ReStore, will be located at 125 East University Avenue, next to the current Habitat ReStore. This new store will feature some of the finer items that are donated to Habitat for Humanity, in addition to offering a good selection of framed art and vinyl records.
Top Drawer ReStore will also help to free up space in the 17,000 square foot Habitat ReStore. Habitat ReStore manager Amy James says donations of furniture, household goods, appliances, and building materials continue to be accepted.
All donations to and proceeds from the Habitat ReStore are used to support Habitat home building projects in Champaign County. To learn more, to donate, or to volunteer, visit cuhabitat.org.
