Central Illinois town opens new grocery store

MORRISONVILLE - A central Illinois town is celebrating the opening of its brand new grocery store, after losing its only one in 2012.

The new store, Sixth Street Market, was opened by local couple Larry and Susan Langen last week.  In addition to this new business, the Langens farm and run an excavating business.  

Sixth Street Market was built on the site of the town's last grocery store.  It features a deli, fresh meat, produce, a kitchen counter, and a daily lunch special.

According to Morrisonville's Mayor Alice Downing, the new store adds about 20 jobs to the town.
