TUSCOLA - Warriors football coach Rick Reinhart is moving after after seven years in Tuscola, the district announced Wednesday.
According to superintendent Michael Smith, Reinhart will become to the new head coach for the Collinsville Kahoks.
“Coach Reinhart's leadership has allowed the Tuscola Warrior football program to continue to thrive over the last seven seasons," said Smith. "He is recognized as one of the most successful football coaches in the state of Illinois over the last several years."
Tuscola was 61-25 during Reinhart's tenure, with six playoff appearances, including the 2009 state title, followed by runner-up finishes in 2010 and 2011.
Smith said the district will advertise for the open head coaching position until Friday, February 27, 2015. They hope to name a new coach by their March 23 board meeting.
