Decatur – Richland Community College is launching a capital campaign for a new Business Education Center.
The campaign seeks to raise $5 million dollars for the center.It will be located on the Decatur campus.
Even before the fund raising campaign was announced on Thursday the campaign had already collected $2.3 million in pledges, gifts and dollars received according to campaign chairman Larry Foster.
“Our students are going to be involved in world issues,” RCC President Dr. Gayle Saunders told WAND's Doug Wolfe.“World based real time business activities that allow them to be engaged with our local businesses, regional businesses, as well as global businesses.”
