Jacksonville residents encouraged to attend health coverage enrollment events

Posted:
JACKSONVILLE - Jacksonville officials are inviting individuals and families to get help in signing up for health coverage during one of multiple enrollment events.

Participants will be able to work with Macoupin County Licensed Navigators to learn more about Get Covered Illinois, as well as the new choices that are available this year.  Navigators will cover several topics, such as plan costs, how to get coverage, enrollment services, Medicaid, and financial help.

Participants are encouraged to make an appointment to ensure that they will receive assistance in learning more about health care coverage options.  You will need to bring a State ID or Driver's License, Social Security numbers, full name, date of birth, and proof of income for the past 30 days if you're in the tax filing status.  All enrollment events are free of charge.
