$1 million Powerball ticket sold in eastern Illinois

WESTVILLE - Illinois Lottery officials say one lucky resident is $1 million richer after Wednesday night's Powerball drawing.

According to officials, the winning "Match 5" ticket was purchased at the Phillips 66 in Westville.  The ticket's owner has yet to come forward to claim the prize.

Officials also say that three tickets, sold in Texas, North Carolina, and Puerto Rico, matched all six numbers in the Powerball drawing, which will allow those lucky ticket holders to split a $564.1 million jackpot.  Wednesday night's jackpot is the third-largest jackpot in Powerball's history.
