Macon County Conservation District hosting Snake and Turtle show

DECATUR - The Macon County Conservation District is giving residents the chance to see, feel, and watch live reptiles at the Snake and Turtle Show on February 28.

The event will be held at the Rock Springs Nature Center from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.  Several species of reptiles will be on display, and a naturalist will be on hand to describe these creatures' lifestyles.

The cost to participate is $2 per person, and you must pre-register online by February 27.  For more information, or to register, visit www.maconcountyconservation.org.
