Former gang leader sentenced to more than 15 years in prison

PEORIA - Authorities say a Peoria man who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute marijuana, heroin, and cocaine has been sentenced to 15 years and eight months in prison.

Allen Fitzpatrick, 35, received his sentence on Thursday.  Authorities say Fitzpatrick is a former leader of the Zone 4 street gang.

Police also say that Fitzpatrick is among three individuals who face first-degree murder charges in the 2006 death of Robbin Underwood, as well as the shooting of Underwood's niece Jennifer Lindler.
