25th Annual Show Choir Competition Draws Hundreds

DECATUR - Snow didn't stop hundreds of people from coming out to Eisenhower High School last night to catch the 25th annual show choir competition. It's the first time the event was held at the new high school.

20 schools from four states took part the two-day event, which included junior high and high school divisions. Several show choir groups from Mount Zion also competed.

In addition to the competing schools, Johns Hill Xperience! and Thomas Jefferson Music Machine show choirs also performed. Organizers say the event took ten months to plan.
