Waiting For The End Of Winter

Decatur – As snow swept through central Illinois Thursday people took the bad weather in stride.

“I get to stay in,” one woman told WAND News.  “I don't have to come out in it.”

Temperatures have been in the deep freeze over the past two weeks with more snow expected to move in this weekend.  The official first day of spring is still 3 weeks away.

“I think it's ridiculous.  It needs to stop,” stated one exasperated man walking on Merchant Street.

“I have to live in it so I figured I might as well like it,” said a Decatur woman with a smile.  “I've chosen to enjoy it.”
