St. Anthony's Hospital teams up with car dealership to collect food donations
EFFINGHAM - HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital's Home Care and Hospice officials teamed up with Dan Hecht Chevrolet Toyota to collect non-perishable food items for the Catholic Charities food pantry.
The event, titled "Cram the Corolla," was held on February 27 in Effingham. Officials say the effort brought in 841 pounds of food for the food pantry.
According to Home Care and Hospice Marketing Specialist Kelley Esker, the food drive was a success due to the contributions of community members and colleagues, and that the donations that were collected with help local families.
